CIRCA has begun it's 2005 recruitment drive in the run up to the G8 meetings in Scotland in 2005 as part of the Laboratory of Insurrectionary Imagination tour of the country. The first open rehearsal show took place at St Werburgh’s City Farm amid a backdrop of goats, turkeys, pigs, children, geese and ducks.

A second show took place on Saturday evening in Southville where damp weather tested the amazing new CIRCA participatory human awning structure (and the audience's resilance to wet weather).

Some people took part in an intensive two days of clown training and also got the chance to pray to products in a local supermarket.

The next towns to be visited by recruitment tour and Lab of II tour are London, Birmingham, Sheffield, Manchester, Newcastle, Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
